One-Year Celebration Program 2026

The Department of Software Engineering (SWE), Green University of Bangladesh, successfully celebrated its One-Year Celebration Program 2026 on February 17, 2026, organized by the Green Software Engineering Club (GSEC). The event was arranged to commemorate the department’s journey, achievements, and the strong sense of unity within the SWE family.

The celebration began in front of the A Building, where Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE), Dr. Md. Mostafijur Rahman, Chairperson of the Department of Software Engineering, along with faculty members and students, gathered with enthusiasm and excitement.

At 9:10 AM, the program officially commenced with a vibrant Campus Rally, reflecting the unity, pride, and energetic spirit of the SWE community. The rally was followed by a lively photo session in front of the Annex Building, after which participants returned to the A Building for another group photo, capturing memorable moments of togetherness.

Following the outdoor activities, the participants moved to Room A-409 for the formal segment of the program. The celebration continued with a joyful Cake Cutting Ceremony, symbolizing unity, new beginnings, and the collective achievements of the department.

The formal session featured an inspiring address by Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, who expressed his appreciation for the initiative and shared his optimistic vision for the future of the SWE department. He encouraged students to remain dedicated, innovative, and forward-thinking in their academic journey.

Subsequently, Dr. Md. Mostafijur Rahman, Chairperson of the Department, delivered heartfelt remarks, motivating students with valuable guidance and reaffirming the department’s commitment to continuous growth, excellence, and student success.
