Library Orientation Program

The Green University Library proudly hosted a highly engaging Library Orientation Program for the Department of Software Engineering (SWE) on October 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM in Conference Room A-302, Admin Building. The session aimed to inspire students to make the most of the Library’s vast print and digital resources, empowering them to excel in both academic and research pursuits.

The event opened with a warm welcome and graceful anchoring by Ms. Kazi Fatema, a student of SWE, who set an enthusiastic tone for the session. Ms. Zakia Sultana Tamanna, Jr. Library Officer, then delivered an interactive presentation showcasing the Library’s collections, e-resources, and digital databases, followed by a live demonstration on accessing academic materials effectively.

Adding an academic perspective, Mr. Kazi Hasnayeen Emad, Lecturer, SWE, encouraged students to take full advantage of the Library’s digital platforms to strengthen their knowledge base and research capabilities.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Md. Mostafijur Rahman, Chairperson of the Department, emphasized the Library’s pivotal role in nurturing curiosity and self-learning. He motivated students to develop a consistent reading habit beyond coursework.

The program was also attended by Mr. Abrar Hasan, Lecturer and Program Coordinator, who expressed appreciation for the initiative and encouraged students to explore the Library’s facilities regularly.

The event concluded with heartfelt thanks to all participants, followed by an open invitation to students to engage with the Library for continuous academic growth and inspiration.
