Inspiring the Next Generation: A Successful Career Guidance Program

The Department of Software Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh (GUB), successfully conducted an outreach program titled “Career Guideline on Software Engineering” on 21 October 2025 at Sanarpar Rowshan Ara College. A dedicated 10-member team from GUB, including representatives from the Admission Office, the SWE Department, the IT Office, and student volunteers, led an engaging and informative session for the college students.

The program aimed to spark interest in the dynamic field of software engineering and highlight higher education opportunities at GUB. The session featured practical career insights, interactive discussions, and a lively Q&A segment, all of which were enthusiastically received by the students.

The success of the event was made possible with the support of the college authorities, faculty, and the GUB organizing team. Encouraged by this achievement, the Department of SWE looks forward to organizing similar programs in the future to guide young learners and strengthen connections with prospective students.
